Improvement generally develops gradually over several days rather than immediately. The full effect may take longer to appreciate, and duration varies from patient to patient based on treatment area, dose, muscle strength, metabolism, and other individual factors.

What Should I Know After Dysport®?

Temporary injection-site pain, swelling, redness, bruising, headache, or other side effects can occur. Follow the specific instructions provided by your injector and contact the office if you develop symptoms that concern you.

Botulinum toxin effects can rarely spread beyond the injection area and cause serious symptoms such as difficulty swallowing, speaking, or breathing. Seek immediate medical care for severe or concerning symptoms.

Tell your provider about all medical conditions, medications, previous botulinum toxin treatments, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any infection near a proposed injection site before treatment.
